Joe Shephard, owner of Shephard Design & Photography, has always been passionate about art and photography especially printed materials and ephemera.  He has over 10 years experience as a professional graphic designer and has 7 years of experience in photography, just recently adding that to his business.

You can see Joe's work in many forms and in many areas of Maryland, Delware, and Pennsylvania.  Over the years he has refined his style to be on the verge of rustic and vintage.  Going back to the roots of the area to produce photographic and graphic designs that give people a glimpse of how life was in the "Old Line" area at the turn of the century.  Although he can photograph and design in a wide range of styles depending on the client the old time simplicity is where his heart is.

Right now Joe works full time as a Senior Graphic Specialist for Upper Chesapeake Health, Inc.  and the University of Maryland Medical System, Inc., where he designs and photographs all aspects of public and internal health information for a two hopsital system.  He has proven himself as a noteworthy designer and photographer in the area.
